Our Teachers

Our teachers love teaching yoga! They are very dedicated to their passion and have extensive training with many years of teaching experience. They continue to be inspired themselves and regularly undertake new trainings and workshops to keep their classes inspiring and evolving for all our students. Some of out teachers also share their experience through teaching their own workshops in the studio at the weekends. More detail can be found on our workshops page.

Nikki Cousins

Nikki attended her first yoga class 17 years ago. A few year later years later was she drawn into an intense connection with the practice that became a life-long relationship. When she began to seriously immerse herself in the practice of Ashtanga yoga that she found a style that resonated with her deeply, a style that both challenged and rewarded her. She completed Paul Dallaghan's training course in Thailand in 2004 and her love and respect for the Ashtanga tradition was truly sealed. It was also here, in Yoga Thailand that she studied under Sri O.P.Tiwari and started a study of the science of pranayama, which now forms an important part of her daily practice.

She is a dedicated yoga student and teacher, studying with top yoga teachers in the world, including spending time in India studying under Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore and Rolf and Marci in Goa. She is committed to studying with her main teacher, Paul Dallaghan every year.

As a teacher her classes are in keeping with the tradition of Ashtanga and are thus demanding. She believes that each student is capable of much more then they realize, and it is through steady, consistent practice that this becomes apparent.

Graham Daly

Graham first began using the physical practices of Yoga as a means to find more comfort in his body during seated meditation practice. The amount of positive change he experienced from Yoga led him to train as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher with 3HO under Sada Sat Singh and Sada Sat Kaur with Jai Katar Kaur of 'Well Within'. He continued his training in Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga with Lalit Kumar of Himalaya Yoga Valley and as a Yoga Nidra teacher with Swami Shantimurti Saraswati of 'Ashram Yoga'.

He has been sharing these wonderful health enhancing practices in Cork City since 2011 and continues to work and train with teachers from different schools and backgrounds to further deepen his understanding and practice.

His classes can range from strong and physical posture work to slow and steady breath and meditative techniques. He encourages all student to choose what practice they need at a given time, all while maintaining the same goal deep within.

Yoga Nidra

Eleonora Sapienza

She discovered yoga at the age of 17 during a workshop in school. During the following years her passion and curiosity led her to practice Hatha Yoga in different schools in Palermo, Las Palmas De Gran Canaria Parma and Buenos Aires, places where She lived for study and work.

It was only after her transfer to Milan in 2009 that yoga really became part of her daily life. There She discovered Ashtanga Yoga along with a new perspective: yoga becomes a useful tool to bypass, or at least recognize, all those mental rigidities and crystallized attitudes which are obstacles on the mat but even more out of the shala.

Thanks to her teacher, Marianna Borga, She learnt to live the mat as a personal and intimate space of self-knowledge, to unhook the practice from the results, and "Feel" rather than "Think". This is what she loves to teach her students today.

In 2014, She attended a 100hr teacher training in Yoga for Kids with the aim of sharing the experience of yoga with children. Children enthusiasm and curiosity are a source of inspiration: nobody can live the present like a child.

She studied with many international teachers including Eddy Stern, Lino Miele, Piero Vivarelli and Olop Arpipi, discovering different teaching methods that have enriched her practice and opened her to new styles and approaches.

In 2016, She completed her 200hr teacher training in Flow Yoga Alignment Oriented in Milan under the careful guidance of Simona Tarabini, Rosa Tagliafierro and Cristina Bazzanella. Their never ending desire to know and share has confirmed to her that a a good teacher can only be a tireless student.

Amy Whitston

Amy discovered her yoga practice in 2012. She found it to be a space for the body and mind to rest, revive and release- a freedom from the daily grind. Amy continued her practice and exploration of yoga and completed her 200 Hour Teacher Training in 2015. Since then she has taught classes in Dublin, Vancouver, Mexico and now teaches back in her home city, Cork. Amy has continued to explore both the philosophical and physical sides of yoga, completing courses in the Chakras, Reiki, Pranayama and astrology, which she uses as a basis to develop and sequence her classes. In both her Hatha and Vinyasa classes, Amy strives to connect each student with their breath so they can strengthen and deepen their practice.
