Aoife Rodgers Nutrition-Love Food, Be Healthy
What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapy is the application of nutritional science to our diets in order to promote optimum health. It aims to alleviate and help prevent many chronic illnesses that are unfortunately becoming more prevalent as our population grows older and lives longer.
Who can benefit?
A healthy diet and digestion is the basis of good health so nutritional therapy can help maximise results from other therapies such as Bodytalk as well as conventional medicine. The following are just some of the areas that Aoife can work with:
* Digestive problems such as IBS, indigestion, constipation, diarrhoea, bloating, allergies, food sensitivity
* Women's health, P.M.S., fertility, advice for pre-conception, pregnancy, breast feeding and post natal recovery
* Immune system problems such as frequent colds, infections, stomach bugs
* Skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, acne
* Quality of life issues such as sleeping difficulties, lack of energy, stress, back and joint pain
* Weight loss, high cholesterol, high blood pressure
Aoife also offers consultations and designs diets for people who have to restrict their diets in some way- for example those recently diagnosed with an allergy, diabetes or coeliac disease etc.
About Aoife:
Aoife has always had a keen interest in food, nutrition and health and as a mother of one, she understands the concerns most people have about what foods her family should eat to be healthy. For the past couple of years she has worked with people of all ages to overcome a wide variety of health problems through diet. Aoife is a member of N.T.O.I. which requires members to be insured and comply with ongoing professional development.
What does a consultation involve?
Initial Consultation (approx 1 hour 15 mins) - 70euros Follow up (approx 45 mins) - 45euros. Details of present complaint, digestion and full medical history are taken. You receive a private consultation with a personalised dietary plan along with tools to help you such as shopping lists, meal ideas and recipes that take into consideration your unique requirements. A follow-up is normally advisable to help you overcome any obstacles you may experience but the aim is to educate you so you do not require multiple consultations.

Ki Massage with Mary Cliffe
Mary is a qualified Ki-Massage therapist with six years. She received her diploma in 2005 and is certified with London City & Guilds. Mary is a member of the Irish Health Culture Association which was founded in1969.
The word Ki itself means Life Force or Energy. Ki is a Japanese word. It is the basic energy that is keeping us alive, that grows the grass in the fields, hair on your head and keeps the planets and the tides in harmony.
Each of us has this life force inside us however tension, stress and pressures of everyday life tend to lower the flow of this energy. This tension and stress creates stress inside the muscles building up day after day. The Ki Energy creates good health and a sense of well-being when given a chance to flow freely. It is designed to take the stress out of the muscles.
Ki Massage brings many benefits such as
Deep relaxation
Increased energy
Enhances recovery with health
Helps sport performance
Eliminates toxins from the body
Arthritis relief
